| The San Juan Range, located in southwestern Colorado, holds some of the more challenging ascents for the trailblazer. Trails are often long and difficult (though tech gear isn't usually necessary), and weather will probably play a factor every day, from thunderstorms to snow squalls. All these 14ers have at least intermediate hiking routes, and if you're looking for a challenge, just try the El Diente - Wilson ridge! |
