The "Gateway to the Rockies". Just about every picture of Pikes Peak you've ever seen was probably taken from here, so it's not to hard to feel like you know the place already. C. Springs is fairly conservative town with tons of military underpinnings. Ft. Carson, the Air Force Academy, Falcon AFB, CSOC, and Peterson AFB are all here. Not to mention NORAD, located deep inside Cheyenne Mountain, where they watch the skies for space junk and stray Pakisanti missiles. Being a fairly large city, you'll find all the usual hotel and restaurant chains here, as well as some interesting tourist attractions, like Cave of the Winds and Seven Falls.
