| What can be said about Boulder that you probably haven't heard in the national media? Sure, they've got student riots and the occasional unexplained murder, but let's look past all that. Seriously, there's really a lot more to it than that. Boulder is, well, an interesting place. To call it liberal might be an understatement to some, so be forewarned. Hang out on Pearl Street and watch the people go by as numerous street artists and artisans entertain the crowds. Go hang out on the University of Colorado campus and enjoy the architecture...just watch out for the rampaging students! Boulder has a little bit of everything, and I personally think its a beautiful city...they try real hard to preserve open space and greenways for public enjoyment, and almost everyone rides bikes everywhere...the highest percentage of cyclists per capita in the country. |
