Welcome to fourteeners.org . . . one man's (that would be me) perspective on the Colorado 14er's (14,000 ft. peaks), including info on trails, gear, environmental impact, and lots more! And as of late August '08, the Grand Slam has been completed, meaning all 54 peaks have now been summited!!

Latest Conditions>> Happy Memorial Day folks! It might be the "unofficial start of summer", but conditions in the high country are still wintry in many places. Late season snows have added to the seasonal snowpack, although avvy conditions are pretty much at a seasonal low. Be safe!
Climb update>> Finally, back into the mountains with a late-spring climb on Bierstadt that felt like midwinter! And was Aconcagua really 4 months ago?? Time flies! All the maps, pics, and trip reports are up and posted from South America. The summer and fall and winter climbing season will start shaping up soon in preparation for Denali in 2010.
