Climb updates>> Happy summer 2012! Hope everyone is keeping cool and mindful of backcountry fire danger...its been hot as hell and its barely July!

Well, it's been a looong time since I sat down and did a site update...and I'm afraid it's going to be longer still. As planned, I traveled to Denali back in May for a second attempt and fell short again, this time due to bronchitis at 14,000'. Even though I didn't summit, I was able to hike out under my own power...so an improvement over 2010's HAPE incident.

I may get a trip report up sooner or later. Honestly, I don't have that much to say about it and I've been taking a bit of a mental break from climbing and from updating my site here. Thanks to everyone who's emailed and asked how the trip was! More to come eventually, but for right now, it's time for a break. Safe climbing, everyone!
